Unfortunately the Assembly was held in Colchester so proved cost prohibitive for those members who would normally attend,  The event was however accessible on Zoom so we were able to participate.  As a previous Secretary of the CF NE Area, the 'passing to glory' of Mrs Jean Bradley, a life long member of Tapton was recorded,

Open to all to enjoy some old and new games with refreshments

Attended by a dozen Tapton folk led by Minister Suzanne Nockels considering the names of God. Interesting and thought provoking.

Suzanne asked us if we recalled any days when our best laid plans had been disrupted?
She remembered ;snow days at school with fondness, less so rail strike days or the COVID pandemic.
She asked us to name biblical characters who had their plans disrupted - Noah Jonah Job & Mary
Reading Acts Chapter 1
Even God was disrupted in the creation in Genesis 1.  Peter when fishing was disrupted when Jesus came along as were the disciples when they were called.
Have our lives been disrupted by Jesus?
