Centenary Walk – Saturday 8 June

Saturday, June 8th, 2013

As part of the centenary celebrations 6 members of the church walked from Tapton Hill Congregational Church to Mayfield Wesleyan Reformed Chapel in the heart of the Mayfield Valley. The walk, through Endcliffe Park, and Whiteley Woods, passing Wiremill Dam and Forge Dam showed off the beauty of nature with ducks, fish, tadpoles, buttercups and young animals.

The weather was splendid and the walkers were greeted at the Mayfield Chapel by 11 other members of the church.

When everyone was assembled we shared a meal produced by Susannah Youdan from Mayfield Chapel.
