Bible Study
Leader: Mary Coates
Ephesians 4 1-6
Be completely humble and gentle, be patient, bearing with one another with love.
l Corinthians 13
Love is indispensable
Three things remain
faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
Love in its various forms should be a big part of our lives – without love we are not complete – we can have many gifts but without love they are useless. This should be the foundation of our living – if it isn’t then we must strive to achieve it.

Led By Rev Suzanne Nockels

As we continued our series of services around prayer, Suzanne gave her interpretation of religious works by Russian artists.

These artists were believers first and held no jealousy to the work of others, thanking God when the works were completed.

What work do we do? Is Jesus Christ beside us in that work and do we pray over choices we have to make?

Leader: Susnnah Youden
The theme for today’s service was
“I am the good shepherd ”
based around
Ezekial 34 1-15
John 10 1-16
Psalm 23
All telling us that God and Jesus are The Good Shepherd
We have a lot in common with sheep – they are stubborn and they follow their leader – they know their shepherd.
Our shepherd will look after us.
As a church we must open our doors and welcome in any of His sheep.
Follow Him and you wont go wrong.

Leader: Suzanne Nockels
We started by thinking about sticky things – from honey, to cellotape etc

Reading :Luke 18 The widow and the Judge
How long can you stick at things?? Continue in prayer do not give up
Are you like the widow who would not give up – or are you the Judge?
Who do you think God is like?
we were told the story of Mark Russell a 16yr old whose friends father was killed in Ireland but there was no mention of this in the media and his family were upset – was it “just another killing?” he felt this was unacceptable and he wrote to the Prime Minister but did not get a reply so he wrote every week until one day he received a call from Downing Street to come to London and talk abut things, and changes were made – what a break through just like the widow in our reading his persistence paid off.
God will listen but we must not give up at first asking -
Just trust in Him talk to Him Stick at it.
